Each department of Cook County government is responsible for procuring its vehicles for employees to use for County business.
Once vehicles have been approved and purchased, the vendor must deliver the vehicles to the Sheriff’s Vehicle Services at 901 26th Street, LaGrange Park, IL.
Departments must contact the Bureau of Administration's Fleet Management to obtain the necessary forms and information for getting license plates.
Once the vehicle has been delivered to the Sheriff’s Vehicle Services location, the new vehicles must be uploaded in their maintenance database, barcode the vehicle and issued a fuel card. All County seal and branding must be done at Sheriff’s Vehicle Services before it is put in service.
The Procurement Office must upload the vehicle in the centralized fleet management system once the titled has been issued.
