The Oak Meadow Sanitary District was formed in 1964 as a Sanitary sewer district to serve an unincorporated area of Cook County bordered by Golf Rd to the south, East River Road to the west and Milwaukee Rd to the north and east.   It provides sanitary sewer service to approximately 14000 residents and local businesses.
