Cook County Military and Veterans Resource Fair
All veterans, service members and military families are invited to attend the 2026 Cook County Military and Veterans Resource Fair on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Brookfield Zoo Chicago’s Discovery Center.
Attendees can connect with federal, state, local and nonprofit organizations offering assistance with health care and wellness programs, employment, education services, benefits and more.
Oct. 17 is Military Appreciation Day at Brookfield Zoo Chicago. Zoo admission and parking are free for event attendees. All are encouraged to bring proof of military service (DD Form 214 with photo ID, veteran ID card or military CAC) to help organizations connect you with benefits.
