Four Incentives Approved by Cook County Board Designed to Spur Economic Growth

Today, Cook County Commissioners approved four proposals from President Toni Preckwinkle’s Bureau of Economic Development (BED) that will provide tax incentives to businesses in Cook County.

The incentives, designed to promote economic growth, were approved in the following communities:  Alsip, Elk Grove Village, and Wheeling.

“The companies receiving these incentives, designated for either industrial or commercial use, have demonstrated their commitment to helping us grow vital communities, “Preckwinkle said. “Our tax incentive tools are used to either keep or expand businesses in Cook County.”

Details on the incentives follow, listed by municipality:

  • Applicant: Lynch Ventures, LLC, 4300 W. 123rd Street, Alsip

Property Use: Industrial – warehousing and distribution

Description:  Will lease to a related industry Lynch Chicago, Inc. for the distribution trucking equipment, new and used tow-trucks, wreckers, rollbacks, carriers, heavy-duty

tow truck units and parts.

Type of Incentive: Class 6b – Special Circumstances

  • Applicant: ML Realty Partners LLC, 2250 Lively Blvd, Elk Grove Village

Property Use: Industrial - warehousing, manufacturing and distribution

Description: The applicant leased the property to Graphic Innovators Inc. primarily for packing, print pressing,

warehousing and distribution.

Type of Incentive:  Class 6b – Special Circumstances

  • Applicant: PHABB Partners LLC, 801 Estes Avenue, Elk Grove Village

Property Use:  Industrial - manufacturing, assembly and distribution

Description: The applicant will lease the property to Diesel Radiator Company, Inc. a manufacturer of high quality cooling systems for a variety of industries. The applicant will manufacturer, assembly, welding, washing, painting and other functions of aluminum brazing oven.

Type of Incentive: Class 6b – Special Circumstances

  • Applicant: ENYM, LLC, 1239 Peterson/97 Marquardt, Wheeling

Property Use: Industrial use- package, warehousing and distribution

Description: The Applicant plans to lease the property to a related entity, Yanni Design Studios for manufacturing, fabrication and warehousing of event design related products such as tables, sofas, beds, benches, chaises, crafted bars, candelabras, vases, canopies, runways, stages, ceiling suspensions and more.

Type of Incentive: Class 6b – Special Circumstances
