President Preckwinkle’s Office Produces First-Ever Digital Report

January 31, 2017

Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle’s office today published the County’s first-ever digital annual report, Cook County at a Glance 2016. The interactive e-report highlights the year’s projects and achievements and can be accessed on-line.

At a Glance 2016 focuses on four key policy and operational areas that showed great progress in 2016: public health, public safety, economic development and the Forest Preserves. It is the first time the County has specifically developed a digital annual report in addition to a print product.

“This report supports some of the guiding principles I have been advocating in my administration since taking office, especially innovative leadership and improving transparency and accountability,” Preckwinkle said.

“Increasingly, our residents are turning to digital resources for their information. This report allows for that opportunity. We also have produced a limited number of print reports.”

Included in the digital report are videos were President Preckwinkle addresses the four key policy and operational areas, numerous fast facts graphics and Did You Know sections. To view Cook County at a Glance 2016, visit ataglance.cookcountyil.gov
