Cook County will experience dangerously low temperatures over the next few days. Wind chills will make it feel as cold as -25°F Tuesday night with bitterly cold temperatures continuing into Wednesday.
Cook County is under a winter weather advisory until 6 p.m. today. Wind gusts up to 50 mph will cause sub-zero temperatures.
A high wind warning will be in effect for Cook County beginning 6 p.m. tonight until 9 a.m. Thursday with wind gusts of up to 60 mph expected.
