Apps for Metro Chicago Illinois competition launched

During the month of July the Partnership for New Communities, a non-profit group of business, civic and foundation leaders focused on bringing economic opportunity to communities throughout Chicago, is offering all employees of Cook County government a $15,000 “Find Your Place in Chicago” incentive should they buy a home in one of five new developments in Chicago. All are in great Chicago neighborhoods and all are being offered at drastically reduced prices. The prices of the condominiums, townhomes and single-family dwellings range from $150,000 to $450,000 and the incentive can be used for down payment or closing costs. In addition, each of the developers is offering additional buyer’s incentives, and buyers can find help in securing mortgages from knowledgeable, trustworthy lenders at reasonable rates. Also of note, in the very near future, the City of Chicago is scheduled to incorporate more than 100 additional homes from across the city into the program that will suit anyone’s taste, geographic preference, style of living and income.
