Cook County Animal and Rabies Control to Host Free Microchip Clinic
June 6 clinic open to all Cook County residents
The Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control (ARC) is hosting a free microchip clinic for cats and dogs. A microchip can make it easier to reunite owners with their pet if the pet is lost.
Representatives from ARC will implant 75 microchips. Residents are also encouraged to take advantage of microchip checks for dogs and cats who are already microchipped. Owners who check their microchipped pets will get the microchip number and ensure that the registration information is current.
