Building and Zoning Payments
Online Payment Service
The Cook County Department of Building and Zoning accepts online payments for many of its services.
Please make sure you have your invoice with you when you begin the process.
NOTE: Beginning, December 1, 2026, there will be a fee for paying with a credit card. The fee will be 2.08% of the transaction amount.
ACH (E-Check Payments) Now Accepted
Before making your payment, please provide your banking institution with the Paymentus Company ID 0000408976 to avoid a debit block when by paying by ACH (e-check). Proceed with your payment after the company ID has been added.
