The Cook County Department of Building and Zoning now provides the option to pay all current invoices online. Please visit Building and Zoning Payments to access this option.

Fee information/schedule

On October 22, 2020, the Cook County Board of Commissioners approved a new fee schedule for the Department of Building and Zoning. The new schedule took effect December 1, 2020. Applications submitted on or after this effective date will be subject to these updated fees. Applications that were under review before this effective date will be subject to the fees that had previously been in place.
