Join us and hear directly from employers and partners who run apprenticeship programs about why this strategy helps them find and train qualified candidates for their open positions. Apprenticeship programs provide a direct pathway to existing, in-demand, skilled jobs and give students valuable hands-on experience while they study towards a degree.
Come with your questions and learn about resources available to defray training costs. If interested, we will work with you to integrate apprenticeships into your current practices and hiring strategy. A networking breakfast will be served from 8:00 to 8:30 AM. A brief tour of Prairie State College IT and manufacturing facilities will follow the program.
