Pre-Qualified Pool of Prime Contractors for Architectural/Engineering Services and Construction Management Services

The Office of the Chief Procurement Officer issued RFP No. 1623-15371 to select a pre-qualified pool of Prime Contractors for Architectural/Engineering Services and Construction Management Services. The list below shows the selected Prime Contractors. Solicitations will be issued to groups of pre-qualified Prime Contractors and will be listed on our website. Firms interested in participating as a subcontractor may review the pre-qualified vendor list and project information as projects are issued to offer their services to the pre-qualified Prime Contractors. Minority and Women Owned Business are particularly encouraged to review the list and project information as they are issued. Cook County Pension Fund - Commercially-Available Pension Administration Solution (PAS) Request for Proposal

The County Employees’ and Officers’ & Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund of Cook County invites the submission of proposals from qualified firms with a long-term and demonstrated commitment to pension administration to select and implement a commercially-available pension administration solution (PAS). The RFP is available beginning March 21, 2018. The submission deadline is 3:00 pm CST, May 14, 2018. To receive the RFP, all interested parties are required to register. Registration is required to obtain a complete set of the proposal forms.
Notice of Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Rules
December 15, 2017
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) published rules regarding the procurement, management, and administration of engineering and design related services. IDOT is in the process of updating the Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Manuals to incorporate these new requirements for procuring consulting engineering services using federal funds. In the interim, IDOT has issued guidelines to satisfy these new requirements including the publication of the names and rankings for the top three firms when contracts are awarded. Please see the document below for Cook County procurements which are subject to the FHWA policy.

Cook County Pension Fund - Pension Administration System Consulting Request for Proposal

The County Employees’ and Officers’ and Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund of Cook County invites the submission of proposals from qualified firms with in-depth knowledge and expertise in public pension plan administration and information technology systems to assist in the development of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement for a Pension Administration System (PAS). Additional services may include project management oversight and quality assurance services for the implementation of the new PAS. The issue date of the RFP was September 21, 2016, and the due date is November 1, 2016. The RFP is available at the below link. The location will be the UIC Forum 725 W. Roosevelt Rd. Chicago, Illinois. The 2016 Vendor Fair is a collaborative effort by the members of the Government Procurement Compliance Forum to give our regional businesses as many resources and networking opportunities as possible. This event will provide businesses the opportunity to learn about contracting opportunities with the City of Chicago, its Sister Agencies, Cook County Agencies, and State and Federal agencies. You will have the opportunity to attend several business workshops, learn how to join the construction trade unions, find financial, insurance, and legal assistance.
