Congratulations on your new position and welcome to Cook County.  On the new hire enrollment page and employee benefits website you will find valuable information and resources to help you make important benefits decision for you and your family.

As a new employee, you are eligible for the following employee healthcare benefits:

  • Medical Insurance, including Pharmacy coverage
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (healthcare and dependent care)
  • Commuter Benefit

As you review your benefits information, keep in mind there are deadlines to submit your elections.  You must enroll within 31 days of your start date for benefits.  If you do not enroll at that time, you will have to wait until Open Enrollment in October.
